Council to weigh sick leave specifics

It’s time for Eugene to dive into the complex details of the city’s mandatory paid sick leave law.

Brushing aside objections, the City Council in July approved the ordinance requiring private employers to provide workers with one hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum of 40 hours a year.
